Showgirl Legacy has been in existence since 2007, but just recently became a 501(c) 3 tax free nonprofit foundation in 2015.
One of Showgirl Legacy's projects is to expand the traveling exhibit that includes a collaborative collection of original Showgirl costumes from the Stage show Spectaculars. Also featured in the exhibit will be paintings from world renowned artists that represent the glamour and mystique of the original showgirl...
To expand our exhibit we are reaching out for cash and in-kind donations that could include mannequins, platforms, showcases, glass boxes, DVD players and screens, and boxes to transport the exhibit. We will also be looking for Presenting Sponsors for the Museum exhibits.
Showgirl Legacy has held an Annual Showgirl Art Competition since 2007. Artwork generated for the Art Competition is showcased with original costumes from the stage show spectaculars and is displayed in various venues throughout the state of Nevada. Cash awards are given out each year that are provided by Showgirl Legacy Sponsors who can also participate in judging the art. Our goal this year is to raise the cash award substantially to also attract professional artists.
